Global Oneness Project

From the Global Oneness Project ( http://www.globalonenessproject.org/ ):

What if the world embodied our highest potential? What would it look like? As the structures of modern society crumble, is it enough to respond with the same tired solutions? Or are we being called to question a set of unexamined assumptions that form the very basis of our civilization?

This 25-minute retrospective asks us to reflect on the state of the world and ourselves, and to listen more closely to what is being asked of us at this time of unprecedented global transformation.

Politics in the States

Hey everyone... this is my first post... and looks to be the first post ever on here since it was created 8 months ago.  I have a blog on here as well but want to keep political stuff off of it since my family reads it and I don't want to get into it with them (as we generally have very different views on most things).
So here are a few links I recently found that I wanted to share:

http://www.opednews.com/articles/Goodbye-farmers-markets-C-by-Linn-Cohen-Cole-090303-287.html

This is regarding bills about to go before congress that pertain to "food safety". However, they were written by big agri-business and could possibly destroy local farmers and farmers markets, of which I happen to be a huge fan and someday contributor.
Here is the petition that is going around to support opposition to these bills:

also, There is a blog I go to called Good Math, Bad Math and it is extremely informative and calling out people's bullshit. This one is in regards to Obama's tax plan. Good ammo to argue with people who are against it because they don't understand tax threshholds...
